HAPPY NEW YEAR!

BEST WISHES FOR A HAPPY 2008, EVERYONE!

Melbourne welcomed in the New Year with the most amazing fireworks display I have EVER seen! Susan from Saskatechwan hosted a get-together, and we watched the fireworks from her apartment balcony. There were views of 2 different sets of fireworks going off in the city, as well as the St. Kilda Fireworks on the beach, and even fireworks farther down the bay. Too Much!

Temperatures hit 41 in Melbourne on New Year's Eve, and it was 33 degrees at midnight! Hotsy-Totsy! Good thing I like warm, eh?

Happy New Year to you too, Paola! We will be drinking to you tonight as we move forward into an exciting, happy 2008 ... at an expected low of 2 degrees. Getting closer to the freezing point - Good thing we have warm coats. Much love, K.

Happy New Year Paola! We welcomed in 2008 at the home of friends in Fanny Bay -- it was NOT warm, and there were no fireworks, but an owl hooted...
Wishing you many more wonderful adventures as you begin a new year Down Under. Love, Cathy and Glenn
