Surfers Paradise is a huge resort city on the Gold coast. It is a mecca for feral backpackers, wealthy international tourists and partygoers year-round. The rest of the tourist population is made up of families. There is something for everyone here on the main pedestrian promenade. Take a look!
Large, commemorative surfboard sculptures and plenty of surf shops for frothing groms (noun: young aggressive surfers).
A restaurant for every culture, each given a fun, touristy, surf culture twist.
Note: there is a restaurant called The Bavarian Haus just down the street from this pub. There's probably a yodeler in liederhosen holding a surfboard on their menu!
The sun is a hazard here! One must slip, slap and slop! (That's slip on a shirt, slap on a hat and slop on some sunscreen.) And still... Darcy got a hard core burn from our beach day today! Well, she didn't exactly follow the rules to the letter...
