Cool Food #1

So I went to bake Chocolate Chunk Cookies in Lorne the other week, and I discovered Self-Raising Flour! Nifty! Who knew!
Do we have that in Canada?

It is clear that self rising flour has baking powder and salt, but I can't find any rules on the proportions. So far I've found the following 'rules' for 1 cup of flour to make it "self rising":

1 tsp BP / 1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp BP / 1/4 tsp salt
1 1/4 tsp BP / pinch salt
1 1/2 tsp BP / 1/2 tsp salt
