This week, the parents and I have been touring around Melbourne and surrounds. We have had all types of weather in our travels.
Here's Torquay Surf beach in the wind.
Back in the city, on Lygon St., lightning struck, thunder clapped and then it hailed! No crazy weather ever lasts for long in Melbourne. It's a bit like Calgary that way. You know...wait 5 minutes, and it'll change. No softball-sized hail stones here. They're more like spanish peanut sized.
On Saturday, we drove down to Mt. Martha to visit my friends Sue and Sheila and their son Finn. We spent some time on the beach in the sun and high winds. Here's the view off the pier at Dromana.
